    Polina Mihova, PhD, is a full-time professor at New Bulgarian University and a telemedicine and healthcare management specialist. She has been studying for this specialty at Sofia Medical University since 2022. She holds various academic qualifications, including a PhD in Computer Systems and Technologies, and a Master`s in Speech and Language Pathology from NBU. Over the years, she has held significant academic positions, such as the Head of the Program Council of Health Care and Social Work Department at NBU. She has been actively engaged in teaching both undergraduate and graduate students.
    Her work encompasses supervisory roles, designing educational tools, and participating in scientific committees and research projects, particularly focusing on digital health technologies and telemedicine. Polina Mihova is also involved in various European research grants and consultancy projects, such as DOOLEE and DIAGRO. Additionally, she is actively involved in professional organizations like ESLA and the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth.
