I an a Professor of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. In 2008 she became official translator and interpreter of the Spanish Home Affairs Ministry in the language combination English, German and Spanish. I have been working as a Community Interpreter in collaboration with the Spanish police authorities for 15 years. My recent publications include scientific articles on the importance of intercultural communication, non-verbal language, the AI applied to Translation and Interpreting and Community Interpreting. As a professional interpreter, my contributions can be both profound and multifaceted. Interpreting is not just about translating words; it’s about bridging cultures, fostering understanding, and facilitating communication among diverse groups.
