Professor at SWPS University
More about me
Since completing my doctorate, I have consistently mentored within academic and research settings. At the Polish Academy of Sciences (1999–2013), I guided junior researchers and graduate students, fostering their analytical skills and encouraging critical engagement with political behavior and public opinion research. As an assistant professor at SWPS University (2013–2018), I mentored undergraduates, master's students, and doctoral candidates, helping them navigate the research process, from conceptualizing studies to publishing findings. In my current role as a full professor, I continue this work, supervising dissertations and leading research teams that tackle issues such as democratic attitudes, political participation, and social cohesion. My mentoring approach is collaborative and student-centered, emphasizing skill development, ethical research practices, and the importance of contributing meaningfully to society. I believe mentoring is not just about imparting knowledge but also about inspiring confidence and resilience. I have seen my mentees grow into accomplished researchers and practitioners, and I am eager to extend my mentoring experience to emerging social innovators in the ERUA community.
