The ERUA Biennale 2025 “Arts & Edges”, hosted by the University of the Aegean, brings together research, artistic practice, and student-driven inquiry across the European Reform University Alliance. This Book of Abstracts gathers the diverse contributions presented during the event, highlighting the multiplicity of approaches through which participants explored the notion of the edge as a space of transition, encounter, and creation. It reflects the Alliance’s commitment to reimagining knowledge production through experimentation, collaboration, and sustained critical engagement.
This collection documents the processes, questions, and inventive initiatives that guided this year’s Biennale. From artistic research and performative practices to interdisciplinary dialogues and community-engaged projects, the abstracts reveal how the arts work at the interfaces — where disciplines meet, knowledge shifts, and new forms of imagination take shape.
We invite readers to engage with these contributions and to continue the conversation within the wider ERUA community, fostering shared spaces for artistic, academic, and civic exchange across Europe.
