The digital platform serves as an informative and engaging hub where community members, researchers, and students can discover ongoing initiatives, share ideas, and co-create knowledge.
COMMUNITY BASED ERUA COLLABORATIVE OPEN SPACE
The platform functions as the ERUA virtual Science Shop, connecting universities and society in an open, collaborative online environment. By showcasing community-engaged research and innovation across the alliance, ECOS demonstrates how academic and societal partners work together to explore solutions to shared challenges, advancing societal impact of research.
As ERUA’s virtual Science Shop, ECOS strengthens cooperation among academia and society, showcasing the alliance’s commitment to sustainable development, creativity and digital transformation.
In its final form ECOS will operate as a cooperation mechanism that supports interaction among diverse interest groups and users. These include members of ERUA alliance universities, associated partners, interregional and civil society actors, policymakers, social and green enterprises, NGOs, activists, artists, creative and cultural actors. Its aim is to link academic expertise with societal needs and foster both top-down and bottom-up initiatives.
