Connected Generations: An easy-to-use online learning platform with videos and guides

Social Challenge Addressed

As society increasingly relies on digital tools for essential services, many older adults—especially those over 60—struggle to navigate modern technologies such as smartphones, online banking, healthcare portals, and digital communication platforms. This digital gap leads to social isolation, limited access to vital services, and increased dependence on others. It deepens generational inequality and restricts the full participation of seniors in today's digital society.

Description of the Solution / Business Idea

Connected Generations creates an online learning platform for older adults, offering: 1. Easy-to-understand video lessons on using smartphones, online banking, digital healthcare, social media, and online safety. 2. One-on-one virtual support from trained young volunteers ("digital buddies"). 3. Access to all materials both online and offline (via USB drives or printed guides for those without internet). This platform empowers older adults to confidently manage digital tasks, stay socially connected, and independently access essential services.
