This chapter is about synthesis. You now have insights, tools, and drafts — it’s time to connect the dots into a clear, actionable, and stakeholder-specific communication strategy.

1️⃣ Engage – From Pieces to Picture

“I had a map, a pitch, some impact data, and a great story… but I never knew when and how to send what to whom. That changed when I built a real strategy.”

What’s the cost of sending the right message at the wrong time?

2️⃣ Understand – What Is a Stakeholder Communication Strategy?

A great strategy answers 3 questions:

  1. Who matters most? (based on mapping + voice understanding)
  2. What do they need to know, feel, or believe? (message + story)
  3. When, how, and through which channels should I reach them? (format + frequency)

  • Top 3–5 stakeholders
  • One message per stakeholder
  • One action step you’ll take this month to move that relationship forward

5️⃣ Reflect – Strategy in Motion

  • What message still feels fuzzy — and why?
  • Who is missing from your strategy (and what would it take to reach them)?
  • What’s your blind spot: Overcommunicating? Undercommunicating? Assuming alignment?

6️⃣ Connect – Make It Real

  • Download or share your Stakeholder Communication Strategy
  • Record a short async pitch (HeyGen, Loom, or voice memo)
